Lynne Bowman: Grandma Said Brownies For Breakfast, Vegan Brownies!

Was I wrong? I sat down with Lynne Bowman author of Brownies for Breakfast. Now if you got excited and had a childhood flash back (or more recent, no judgement) then let me clarify they are vegan brownies. Whole food plant based diets is my own personal nightmare, or is it?

While I haven't tried the brownies yet, my kids and I made Berry Berry Gelato and it was incredible! (video will be out later this week) Now I am a huge steak and eggs guy, sometimes a little too huge and not in good ways. We talked about the value of home cooking, family diners and the value of dining room or there is nothing.

I have had other Nutritionist on but Lynne is not that, she is a women who learned to make her body work despite being a type 2 diabetic. She encouraged me to get a nutritional assessment and let that be my guide. She is healthy, happy and living her best life! When she wanted to come on the how and talk about men cleaning up our act health wise I was all ears.

I honestly struggle with some of her ideas, but I also know that the people who make me think teach me the most and I am always game to learn from another perspective. You may want to run and scream or mock someone when you hear the term vegan, vegetarian or any other dietary habit yo don't agree with.

Lynne had some great points and makes a mean berry berry gelato, I am going to try the brownies too, so let me know if you want to see that as a video.
